Position: PreSales Consultant / Solution Architect

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Pre-Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving our sales process through expertise in our products and services, understanding client needs, and crafting compelling solutions. This position requires a balance of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify business opportunities and convert prospects into clients.
- Assist in creating marketing materials, proposals, and bids that are tailored to the client’s needs.
- Understand customer requirements and business objectives.
- Provide input for marketing strategies based on market trends and customer feedback.
- Provide technical expertise and solution-based consulting to our clients.
- Design and present solutions and proposals that meet the client’s needs and expectations.
- This role involves a significant amount of client interaction, often at a high level. This includes meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Conduct product/service offering demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients. Able to showcase the features, advantages, and benefits of company’s solutions in a way that is both understandable and compelling to the client.
- Assist in the preparation of responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings and follow-ups.
- Work closely with Project delivery and marketing teams to provide feedback and insights from the market.
- Stay updated with IT knowledge and industry trends.
- Although primarily focused on pre-sales, ensuring a smooth transition to Project Delivery teams, ensuring customer satisfaction and continuity.
- Support the sales team in achieving its sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a pre-sales role in the IT industry.
- Strong technical background, primarily in Java/.NET/Python, Cloud Computing, Quality Assurance, CICD, DevOps, with an understanding of IT products and services.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to translate technical details into business benefits.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
- Experience in responding to RFPs and RFQs.
- Proven track record in sales support and client relationship management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and presentations. Preferably, a valid USA Visa.
