Alliance Manager – Cloud Partnerships

Introduction: As a leading IT consulting and services company, we are seeking a proactive
and skilled Alliance Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in executing our
strategic initiatives to partner with leading cloud vendors, thereby enhancing our service
offerings and expanding our market reach. The ideal candidate will possess strong
relationship management skills, in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, and a proven
track record of fostering successful business partnerships.
Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Alliance Building: Identify potential cloud service partners and develop
    strategic relationships that align with the company’s goals. Engage with senior
    stakeholders to negotiate partnership agreements that provide mutual benefits.
  • Program Management: Design and implement programs that integrate partner
    technologies and services into our offerings. Manage all phases of the partnership
    lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product
    development, and technical teams to ensure the successful integration and
    promotion of partner solutions. Facilitate joint marketing campaigns and co-selling
    initiatives with partners.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends,
    opportunities, and challenges in cloud services. Leverage insights to refine
    partnership strategies and innovate our service offerings.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators to measure
    the effectiveness of partnerships. Report on partnership performance to senior
    management, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Training and Enablement: Coordinate with partners to arrange training sessions for
    sales and technical teams, ensuring they are equipped with up-to-date knowledge
    about partner technologies and solutions.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all partnership activities comply with
    legal and regulatory requirements. Promote best practices in partnership
    management across the organization.
    Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a
    related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in alliance or partnership management,
    preferably in the IT or cloud services industry.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and the
    competitive landscape.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to translate data into strategic insights.
  • Ability to travel as needed for partner meetings, conferences, and other events.
