Position: Product Development Manager
Experience: 10+ years
Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Vision: Define and articulate the product vision and strategy, aligning with the company’s goals and customer needs. Continuously assess the competitive landscape and technology trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement. Ensure the team has the necessary tools and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Project Management: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Implement agile methodologies to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of features.
- Technical Oversight: Guide the technical architecture and design decisions, advocating for best practices in Java development(or any backend programming languages), React JS (or similar frontend technologies), Mobile Apps(Native/Hybrid), Microservices architecture, Containerization strategies, and the integration of AI/ML capabilities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer support, to gather requirements and feedback. Communicate development progress and challenges to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet the highest standards of quality, usability, and performance. Champion the importance of testing and QA processes within the development cycle.
- Customer Focus: Keep the customer at the center of all development initiatives. Understand and anticipate customer needs to drive product enhancements and innovations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product management or development leadership roles, ideally within a SaaS environment.
- Strong technical background in Java, Microservices, Containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and AI/ML technologies.
- Experience with both B2B and B2C subscription models is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Agile/Scrum certification or experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Innovative thinker with a passion for technology and product development.
