Job Title: UX Designer – Business Intelligence Dashboards and Web/Mobile Apps
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced UX Designer with a strong background in creating wireframes for Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards, as well as mobile and web applications. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional skills in design thinking, market analysis, business requirements discovery, and analysis. They will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate their needs into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. This role requires expertise in tools like Figma and the ability to guide UI developers and stakeholders throughout the design process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wireframe Design: Create wireframes and prototypes for Business Intelligence dashboards, mobile applications, and web apps using tools like Figma. Ensure that user interfaces are intuitive, efficient, and aligned with business goals.
- Design Thinking: Apply design thinking principles to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors. Use this understanding to inform the design process and create user-centric solutions.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, user preferences, and competitors’ offerings. Use this data to inform design decisions and stay ahead of the competition.
- Business Requirements Discovery and Analysis: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze their requirements. Translate complex business needs into actionable design concepts and user experiences.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and developers to ensure alignment between design concepts and project goals. Maintain open communication and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
- UI Developer Guidance: Provide guidance to UI developers, offering support and clarification on design specifications, interactions, and user flows. Ensure that the final product aligns with the intended design.
- User Testing: Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to validate design choices. Make data-driven design adjustments based on user insights and feedback.
- Documentation: Create and maintain design documentation, including wireframes, prototypes, design guidelines, and user personas, to ensure clear communication and consistency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and design trends. Share insights and knowledge with the team to drive innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing BI dashboard, mobile, and web app wireframes.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong understanding of design thinking principles and user-centered design methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into user-friendly designs.
- Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis.
- Familiarity with data visualization principles and best practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development is a bonus.
